The Mammoth Mountain Inn is conveniently located adjacent to the Main Lodge of Mammoth Mountain and offers hotel and condominium rooms. This full service property features a new fitness room, indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis, and a heated pool with spectacular mountain views. OEC IOR Refresher

OEC Refresher Instructors will have a unique opportunity at the Far West Division Summer Conference August 6, 7 & 8 at Mammoth Mountain. This year, on Saturday morning, the division is presenting a complete OEC Cycle C Refresher and Refresher Planning Meeting for patrollers and instructors.

Refresher IORs and Instructors will have the opportunity to attend a Refresher Planning Meeting with a continuing education piece for all instructors, complete their stations, and if they like the refresher, they can take the complete refresher back to their patrol on a CD, including forms, stations, checkoff sheets and posters for display. CPR Recertification will also be available.

The refresher was created by and will be presented by the Southern California Region Refresher Committee and Southern California OEC Instructors, and includes custom designed, mostly senior-level scenarios presented in a non-threatening, learning environment-type manner. They are designed to challenge patrollers to think and explore. It also includes approximately 25 custom 2' x 3' posters to enhance and stimulate the learning and refreshing experience. Saturday afternoon presentations will include educational breakout sessions in all NSP disciplines (Avalanche, Instructor Development, Mountain Travel & Rescue, Outdoor Emergency Care, & Outdoor Emergency Transportation) and many other learning opportunities, such as Nordic, Search & Rescue, Certified, and Awards.

Refresher instructors are encouraged to work with your local NSP Ski Patrol Representative to see if your local patrol can support your attendance at this special opportunity.
