Tri-Advisory 2010 - Fall Educational Conference In Yosemite Valley!!!!

Announcing Tri-Advisory 2010!

This year's Tri-Advisory will be held on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, November 5th 6th and 7th, at Yellow Pines Camp Site located in the majestic Yosemite Valley, in Yosemite National Park, California.

This location provides an outstanding venue for this event. It is a camp area reserved for non-profit organizations involved with outdoor training activities.

Mark you calendar and enter your reservation now!

Clinics on Saturday - all conducted by a FWD instructor specializing in the topic::

• Map & Compass and GPS usage and skills
• Avalanche Beacons usage and skills
• Basics of Hiking
• Emergency toboggan construction, rope rescue systems, ski pole splinting, etc.
• Light weight packs – Nordic patrolling on a diet.

Sunday Morning Activities:

• Yosemite Park Service Rangers to have activities for the entire family.

All clinics will be hands-on and conducted in the grand outdoors of The Valley.

With your preregistration received prior to September 15, 2010:

• Yosemite Park entrance fee is included
• Tent camping is included at the Yellow Pines Camp site (subject to space availability)

Note: After November 1st reservations are not booked for the winter season. All camping is on a first come basis.
